You remember Gaga wearing one of Rachael Barrett’s silicone rubber dresses in the Bad Romance video, don’t you? Or the one she’s chosen for the Ellen DeGeneres Show? And also the bespoke rubber bodice she’s teamed-up with the Mouton Collet hat you loved so much?
And those lucky of you who attended one the last shows in the US, will also recall this silicone rubber with navy lace marvel Gaga rocked on the Monster Ball stage.
Not only Gaga loves wearing Rachael Barrett‘s unique pieces that explore the female form and the trapped space between the body and the garment, Rachael is also one of the designers who have created one-of-a-kind costumes for the Monster Ball Tour.
Gaga’s “Nun” dress “before”…

… and “after”.
Rachael’s trademark silicone rubber is easily recognizable so I’m beyond sure daily readers know who was behind the shorts and sleeveles jacket suit Gaga wore on and off stage in London with Philip Treacy Lobster hat, Yellow Hand by Gary Card and vertiginous glittery platforms by Giorgio Armani.
Aaand… there is another dress Rachael Barrett has created for our girl…
… but that’s another story

Our girl never fails to impress. And we love her for that.
I believe Mr. Magic Hands behind all the bone wonders…
… every monster would be beyond proud to wear is Gary Card.
“The one who created Lady Gaga’s keytar” I hear you saying.
Yeap, that very one.
Gary’s creations were featured in Vogue Hommes Bondage Warriors editorial, styled by our one and only Nicola Formichetti.
I spotted the photos on both Gary and Nicola’s respective blogs some weeks ago, so you can imagine my face when I saw the pictures from the last night this morning…
