When I saw the photo of Lady Gaga from her X-Factor performance,…
… I instantly thought about these visuals I’ve added to my “WWD” (Who Will Dare) file when I discovered Gareth Pugh work.
Nobody did. Until now.
The piece belongs to his Spring 2007 collection and I’m so happy this work of art was taken from the archive (I’d really love to get lost in) and finally made it to the stage when it definitely belongs.
Those of you who visited or remember the Superheroes: Fashion and Fantasy exhibition in the MET Museum have most probably already found out this is the fourth piece from this special event that thanks to our girl enjoyed its well deserved show time.

Sebastian wrote me yesterday night.
“Ever since I saw the photos of Lady GaGa in the Wango Tango I wanted to know more about this weird and really great structured and geometrical leather jacket. Can you ID it?”
Gaga’s black origami awe is from Gareth Pugh Fall 2008 collection inspired in Wizard of Oz. A collection that many sexy bodies in the industry fell in love with. Beyoncé and Grace Jones among others.
I’m sure even those of you who knew the answer the moment you saw the pictures won’t mind me going back in time and bringing some close-ups…
… so all of us could touch the showstopping wonder once again.
Also loved some Gaga’s outfit and we didn’t talk about it here in FASHION yet?
Don’t hesitate a sec and let me have it.
