I was so excited to see what Gaga is going to wear for the ball… and she didn’t let me down (then “who” did let me down was my computer that crashed when I least expected it…).
The only two pieces of her look I “recognized” at the first sight were her Viktor & Rolf mask and her white Noritaka Tatehana “Lady Vase” platforms.
And I don’t know about you (and eager to read about your feelings) but I couldn’t get my eyes off her latex outfit for a looong while.
The ivory pearl embellished latex dress was custom created for her by Francesco Scognamiglio.
And I love, love, love it. Love the shape. Love the strategically placed cut-outs. Love how delicate it looks.
And last but not least, I love the fact I can share this exclusive sketch by Francesco Scognamiglio with you guys!
Her mask belongs to Viktor & Rolf Fall 2006 collection.
Gaga’s White Tie & Tiara Ball look was completed by diamonds by Chopard.

Steven Klein said MTV the video “…is about a woman’s desire to resurrect a dead love and who can not face the brutality of her present situation. The pain of living without your true love.”
And here comes the Lady in black, dancing her hurt soul off. Wearing…
… black vest by Dolce & Gabbana.
The cut is similar both to the velvet vests from their D&G Fall 2010 collection and stretch wool vest from Dolce & Gabbana Pre-Fall 2010 collection, so not sure.
Her black high-waisted stretch wool gabardine trousers belong to Francesco Scognamiglio Fall 2010 collection.
Next part in a while.

What was your first thoughts when you saw Gaga walking the red carpet yesterday in the white dress cape by Francesco Scognamiglio?
I mean what images or words were popping instantly to your mind?
My inmediate thoughts were… it’s unbelievable how far she got so far and this is just the beginning… Vogue… Brit Awards 30th Anniversary three tier cake… the Phantom of the Opera… Marie Antoinette…
I said it already, I know, but I don’t mind repeating myself. What I love about Gaga is she makes you think while constantly surprising and maintaining you entertained the way no other artist does. Inspired by many. Inspiration for so many more.
Look at this lace beauty by Philip Treacy… Hmmm… Delicate. Bold. Delicious.
Make-up by Billy Brasfield.
Mr. Magic Hands behind her hairdo this time was hair stylist Malcolm Edwards. Love, love, looove!
And look what I got for you just the moment I was about to publish this:
Francesco Scognamiglio‘s sketch for Gaga!
The white wonder our girl walked the red carpet in was “silk flounces completely covered by neoprene that simulate a gorget overstated in its dimension and take up the “Opera” theme” as requested by Gaga herself.

The delicious body-loving draped white gown with three-dimensional gold stars Gagita wore for The Elvis Duran Show…
… is from Francesco Scognamiglio Spring 2010 collection.
As many times before: LOVE. From every angle.
The gold stars by Philip Treacy were the collection’s main motif.
As usual, some details so you could appreciate their beauty even more…
And look at this awe. If I ever get lost in Francesco Scognamiglio‘s archive, I will definitely try this one. Simply F.A.B.U.L.O.U.S. There’s nothing else I can say, eh eh eh eh!
