Love how quick you react. The moment I publish “Next on FASHION”, I start receiving your “bets and findings” e-mails. Some of you thought it was Alexander McQueen, and there were also very strong Haus of Gaga and OLIMA teams…
The The Fame Monster cover black vinyl cape…

… is from London based artist and fashion stylist Johnny Blueeyes‘ label House of Blueeyes “Don’t be Afraid of the Darkness within” AW 2009 collection, inspired by hammer house horror classics from the 60′s and 70′s.

“Inspired by challenging the concept of fashion as elite and disconnecting”, Johnny tasked himself with putting together “a family of extremely talented designers, artists and performers to help bring individuality, love and fun back to fashion”.
Is the same cape Gaga wore for the Monster Cable Party in Berlin with her Atsuko Kudo Shell Cup Mini Kick Hem Dress.

Hope Johnny won’t mind if I finish this ARTicle using his words.
“Everyone in our beautiful and magical world is perfectly imperfect. Everyone looks and feels differently and hopes for different things in their lives. Taking this as the point of reference for the spirit of the House of Blueeyes is the idea that we are all beautiful regardless of our gender, age, colour, sexuality or social status. We are bringing love and freedom to the world…. through our art.”
LOVE + ART + FREEDOM = HEAVEN ON EARTH
P.S.
I’m sure many of you have read about another creation by House of Blueeyes our girl wore for last year VMA’s. But (don’t hate me) that’s another story.

Our mysteriously gorgeous Momma Monster attended the photo call at the O2 World Arena in Berlin wearing…
… black custom made Alexander McQueen cloak and her favourite “Night Makers”.
I’m sure many of you will recall Alexander McQueen‘s “The Girl Who Lived In The Tree” collection based on the British Empire, the Queens of England, the Duke of Wellington, toy soldiers and punk princesses…
And the amazing red finale number Lee presented during his Fall 2008 fashion fairy tale,…
… I believe Gagita’s black awe creation was based on.

Last year Gaga wowed the audience with her custom made zipper outfit by Benjamin Cho.
Yesterday our super sexy gothic fairy looked exquisite in the silk mesh bodysuit with embroidered Chantilly lace, and crystal and jet beading. Both the mesh second skin and her sheer silk organza cape with embroidered hood were created exclusively for her for this occasion by Giorgio Armani.

“American Idol is a real modern phenomenon that has captured the public’s imagination and delivers great drama…” said Mr. Armani.
“It is fitting then that the show is to host another modern phenomenon who has proved to be fascinating, and whose every appearance is a piece of theatre: Lady Gaga”.
For Giorgio Armani, who dressed our girl for the Grammy Awards, who created a part of Gaga’s ever growing Monster Ball Tour costumes collection, whose tailor made suit Gaga walked the Time’s Most Influential People “hall of fame” in, and who also designed the crystal incrusted bodysuit Momma Monster performed during the the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute Gala in,…
… this has been “a very exciting project”.
“To complement the spirit of Lady Gaga herself, I have let my imagination run free, and the outfit I have created for her for American Idol is pure fantasy”.

Gaga’s medley of “Telephone” and “Dance In The Dark” performance was her very personal tribute to her dear friend Alexander McQueen.
Under the white cloak…
… she wore a stunning barely there just body & lace bodysuit and matching lace embellished shoes. Everything created by Alex Noble as “a delicate payment of respects to the late great McQueen”.
When I saw it, it felt like travelling back in time in Alexander McQueen‘s archive to 1996…
The sculpture you saw on the stage was created by Nick Knight. Pity I didn’t find any better photo so far. If you have one, please drop me a line. Would looove to have it here.
Last night totally belonged to Gaga.
3 nominations. 3 awards.
So here I am, standing in the laaarge queue to congratulate you!
All the hard work paid off. Do you still need to pinch yourself to believe it, honey?
