Lady Gaga at Sir Elton John’s Ball: Performance

As you know Gaga was one of Sir Elton John’s very special invited to his 12th annual White Tie & Tiara Ball.

“It’s a Lady Gaga Wonderland,” said Sir Elton John, as he mingled in the grounds with 650 guests, many of whom appeared bemused by the strait-jacketed performance artists dangling from the trees, and the “men-in-white-coats” and “bandaged” waiters serving cocktails in medicine bottles, and canapés in metal surgical trays.

The evening, hosted by the singer and his partner, David Furnish, at their home in Old Windsor, raised more than £5.6 million for the Elton John AIDS Foundation.

What Gaga offered was a one-off show with several wardrobe changes, including this delicious white crystal embellished body from On Aura Tout Vu SS 2005 Pierres Precieuses Collection.

Agent Provocateur French Leavers  lace lingerie set from their Love Collection, and custom made silicone rubber hat and jacket by Rachael Barrett.

And this “frozen” wonder…

When I saw this jacket I was in awe. I was literally staring at it for a looong while trying to find out what is it made off.

The piece is a part of Vera Thordardottir final collection for her graduation from Istituto Marangoni (she’s graduated from just a few days ago!).

The jacket is made from a textile that Vera herself developed “using silicon, silver wire and swarovski crystal. The inspiration was drawn from the idea of how frost affects the elements”.

How amazing is it?

Guys… has anybody met my Genie yet?

Lady Gaga in Calvin Klein Collection

Lady Gaga perfomed during the Rainforest Fund 21st Birthday Celebration Benefit Concert held yesterday at Carnegie Hall in New York City.

Founded by Sting and Trudie Styler, the mission of the foundation is to support indigenous and traditional people of the world’s rainforests in their efforts to protect their environment and fulfill their rights.

For her arrival, Gaga wore a custom Calvin Klein Collection black needle punched silk taffeta seamless bustier dress and SOMARTA Crow second skin bodysuit.

Love from every angle.

The delicious one of a kind white cord inlay dress over the tulle-shell bustier dress and the knit hooded bodysuit that looked like if made off the finest spider webs, are another Calvin Klein Collection custom pieces.

Both mind blowing bespoke outfits were designed by Francisco Costa, the Calvin Klein Collection Women’s Creative Director.

Gagita finished both looks with her beloved Noritaka Tatehana Night Makers.

Lady Gaga in Somarta

For those of you guys who asked me about the lace piece Gaga was wearing in MOMA

… it was another exquisite SOMARTA lace second skin.

This one is called “Crow” and belongs to the AW 2010  “Wunderkammer” collection second skin series.

The paterns of the skin series differ based on the theme of each collection. This one is inspired in a mixture of feathers and plants.

Gagita loves SOMARTA as this is at least the forth bodysuit in a row.

And we love what we see.

Lady Gaga on American Idol

Last year Gaga wowed the audience with her custom made zipper outfit by Benjamin Cho

Yesterday our super sexy gothic fairy looked exquisite in the silk mesh bodysuit with embroidered Chantilly lace, and crystal and jet beading. Both the mesh second skin and her sheer silk organza cape with embroidered hood were created exclusively for her for this occasion by Giorgio Armani.

“American Idol is a real modern phenomenon that has captured the public’s imagination and delivers great drama…” said Mr. Armani.

“It is fitting then that the show is to host another modern phenomenon who has proved to be fascinating, and whose every appearance is a piece of theatre: Lady Gaga”.

For Giorgio Armani, who dressed our girl for the Grammy Awards, who created a part of Gaga’s ever growing Monster Ball Tour costumes collection, whose tailor made suit Gaga walked the Time’s Most Influential People “hall of fame” in, and who also designed the crystal incrusted bodysuit Momma Monster performed during the the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute Gala in,…

… this has been “a very exciting project”.

To complement the spirit of Lady Gaga herself, I have let my imagination run free, and the outfit I have created for her for American Idol is pure fantasy”.
