Posted on February 17, 2010 by Patricia with 1 commentGaga’s medley of “Telephone” and “Dance In The Dark” performance was her very personal tribute to her dear friend Alexander McQueen. Under the white cloak… … she wore a stunning barely there just body & lace bodysuit and matching lace embellished shoes. Everything created by Alex Noble as “a delicate payment of respects to the late great McQueen”. When I saw it, it felt like travelling back in time in Alexander McQueen’s archive to 1996… The sculpture you saw on the stage was created by Nick Knight. Pity I didn’t find any better photo so far. If you have one, please drop me a line. Would looove to have it here. Last night totally belonged to Gaga. 3 nominations. 3 awards. So here I am, standing in the laaarge queue to congratulate you! All the hard work paid off. Do you still need to pinch yourself to believe it, honey? This can not be true. Loved him since I can remember. Not much older than I am so I followed just about every collection and success of this visionary creative genius. And even though we have never met, he’s been a part of me. I can not stop crying so I’ll stop talking and let you enter to my precious file exclusively devoted to the only Alexander I have ever loved and show you some more of my favourite creations of his. My very small and very personal tribute to Alexander. Posted on January 23, 2010 by Patricia with 2 commentsWhat a dangerous B.E.A.U.T.Y.! Love. Love. Looove. The first visual from Alexander McQueen Spring 2010 Plato’s Atlantis advertising campaign. Shot by Nick Knight! Genie, honey, can I have those heels now please? If you can’t make it personally, you can still use Fedex! Twitter on fire. Everybody wanted to share the first impressions after watching the world premiere of the “Bad Romance” video on LadyGaga.com. Amazing. Epic. Memorable. I’m still quite speechless… You know what is even more than standing ovations? Table standing ovations! For Gaga. For Nicola. For all the dancers. For Laurieann. For Francis. For Alexander. For Haus. For the whole team – all the people we don’t even know but added their bit. Wish I could have been there. You all did a hell of a great job! I should talk about fashion here and I’m more than happy to announce that Lady Gaga not only world premiered her “Bad Romance” we’re going to hear and read a lot about for a long time, she also was the first in rocking those fabulous creations Alexander McQueen proposes for the upcoming Spring 2010 season. The gold dress… All those fabulous feet jewels… Oh my… And also the beyond fabulous runway finale look. Looking forward to come home and watch it again on my boyfriends super sized screen!
