In the video Gaga wore two custom made pieces by Alexander McQueen.
The first one was the black cloak you’ll remember seeing her rocking during the photo call at the O2 World Arena in Berlin.
Her spectacular binocular crown was created by Nasir Mazhar and I’m sure I’m not the only one who wants to see Gaga wearing it for some of her next photoshoots or performances and be able to appreciate the beauty of this awesome headpiece closer. Until then, what the crown looks like in detail will remain a mystery.
During the funeral of her broken heart procession our girl was walking in an exaggerated hour-glass silhouette ivory dress with black lace (looove her make-up and hair here!) that I believe is…
… an extension of Alexander McQueen‘s Spring 2007 “Sarabande” collection, inspired by Handel’s Sarabande of the title – a majestic and elegant dance – the portraits of Goya, the turn of the century exotic and socialite Marchesa Luisa Casati and garden flowers.
Her bespoke black flowers trapped in lace headdress was created by Philip Treacy for Alexander McQueen. Another piece from Gaga’s ever growing millinery collection I would love to see her wearing again.

Our mysteriously gorgeous Momma Monster attended the photo call at the O2 World Arena in Berlin wearing…
… black custom made Alexander McQueen cloak and her favourite “Night Makers”.
I’m sure many of you will recall Alexander McQueen‘s “The Girl Who Lived In The Tree” collection based on the British Empire, the Queens of England, the Duke of Wellington, toy soldiers and punk princesses…
And the amazing red finale number Lee presented during his Fall 2008 fashion fairy tale,…
… I believe Gagita’s black awe creation was based on.

Gaga’s medley of “Telephone” and “Dance In The Dark” performance was her very personal tribute to her dear friend Alexander McQueen.
Under the white cloak…
… she wore a stunning barely there just body & lace bodysuit and matching lace embellished shoes. Everything created by Alex Noble as “a delicate payment of respects to the late great McQueen”.
When I saw it, it felt like travelling back in time in Alexander McQueen‘s archive to 1996…
The sculpture you saw on the stage was created by Nick Knight. Pity I didn’t find any better photo so far. If you have one, please drop me a line. Would looove to have it here.
Last night totally belonged to Gaga.
3 nominations. 3 awards.
So here I am, standing in the laaarge queue to congratulate you!
All the hard work paid off. Do you still need to pinch yourself to believe it, honey?

When I heard the sad news a while ago, it was exactly the same feeling I had when I found out about Michael Jackson: No way. This can not be true.
Loved him since I can remember. Not much older than I am so I followed just about every collection and success of this visionary creative genius. And even though we have never met, he’s been a part of me.
I can not stop crying so I’ll stop talking and let you enter to my precious file exclusively devoted to the only Alexander I have ever loved and show you some more of my favourite creations of his.
My very small and very personal tribute to Alexander.

Genie, honey, can I have those heels now please? If you can’t make it personally, you can still use Fedex!
