We first met after a fan of his work dropped me a line (thanks & a crunchy hug to Fred Butler). I was desperately trying to find out who created the top Lady Gaga wore during the MTV Playground interview with Craig Lawrence. One of my top 10 Gaga looks.
For those of you who are still wondering, that fabulous and for me really memorable piece is called “OP Warrior” and the magic hands behind it are those of Alex Noble.
The three words that come instantly to his mind when I say “Lady Gaga style” are Outlandish, Extrovert and Rapacious. And his favourite look for Gaga is “… actually naked with amazing shoes and a killer wig. The V magazine shoot is sensational.”
Those of you who follow Nicola Formichetti’s blog certainly know Alex has also created one of Lady Gaga’s VMA headpieces.
I also asked him what he would chose for Lady Gaga’s next appearance. Alex told me he’d “love to make her an outfit where she becomes a hybrid, some modern mythology for this new icon. Something like a burlesque Medusa wearing tasseled snakes, or a tattooed minotaur with horns and rings”!
And he would also love to see her in this outfit he created:
Now we know a tiny bit more about him. But there is so much more about this creative monster. Grab a cup of coffee or mate and visit Alex Noble’s blog to find out.

I know this is a fan site, but GaGa should totally endorse and incorporate this blog into her official site. It is PHENOMENAL. This post has my head reeling! Thanks!
Oh and I think she should have left the scorpion on the headpiece. It’s somehow very, very different without the pearl. Not bad by any stretch of the imagination, but it would have been another tug forward that I think would have suited her well.
Ahh. I love it. This blog is great. Love the first one, although it looks a bit like she’s dressed up as a human taco.
@Daniel
and I love to have you here!
