Beyonce is really disappointing in this video. i call this the “Justin Timberlake syndrome,” when a star duplicates their image multiple times on screen throughout the video (see: Justin’s Rock Your Body video to get my drift). I realllyyyy do not get what Beyonce was going for…I think she missed the mark big time, and then had a penis contest with Gaga in the end (anyone notice how much bigger Beyonce’s red rifle as in contrast to Gaga’s yellow handgun?). The best part of the video was Gaga’s part, for sure. Oh, Beyonce, go back to videos like Ego and single ladies!!

I love Lady Gaga but this isn’t her moment. The styling is all wrong, she looks better when she’s a full on art bitch, and she seems like she’s trying too hard in the video, sort of flailing about, just doesn’t have the class/vision of Bad Romance. I think these straight-ahead pop collabs aren’t her forte, she should keep it solo/unique, she comes across as more desperate in the video perhaps because Beyonce’s moves are more minimal in comparison and she’s prettier, whereas when Gaga stays solo she has a gravitas unlike other current pop stars. And I disagree, she looks better with MORE make-up, she doesn’t quite have the looks to carry off a bare-makeup look but when she’s decked out, there’s no denying she’s HOTT! Keep it weird Gaga!

This song is really annoying. I don’t listen to Beyonce so I don’t know if this is her usual style, but if it is, then I won’t be venturing into any of her music anytime soon. I really only watched it for GaGa. I really liked the synchronized dancing that she did with Beyonce, but other than that, this video is just weird and the song is annoying.
