I’m totally in favor of piracy!
You have the right to listen before you can purchase the album!
I downloaded the album and I loved it, and I’m sooo gonna buy it!
But I think we have the right to listen to the songs, every of you say “OH NO , ITS LEAKED” but most of you have already listened the leaked album!
Let’s be honest, if we like the album, we are gonna buy it anyway!
I’ll do it! Cause I LOVE THIS PERFECTION OF ALBUM!

A true Gaga an would not mind the album being “Leaked”.
If you’re a true fan you’ll go out and pay $8.00 and more to buy it.
I pre-ordered the Super deluxe edition from her webiste.
AND I’m still going out on the 23rd to buy the normal and deluxe version of The Fame Monster.
Because I’m a TRUE fan. <3
Gaga changed my life. Period.

Soooo I’m totes going to be buying the Fame Monster Super-Deluxe-Amazing edition BUT I also downloaded it yesterday, and here’s my favs in order.

1. DANCE IN THE DARK – My favourite by far. Amazing song. I think it’s the most dark song on the album & I love the shoutouts to Marilyn Munroe, Jesus, Kubrick, Jean Benet Ramsey, Sylvia Plath, Judy Garland and Lady Diana. It’s a classic and she’d have to be insane not to release it as a single.
2. BAD ROMANCE – Awesome, quirky, goth-y, anthemic. Loves <3
3. ALEJANDRO – There's a different version to this on the album to the one I downloaded a couple of weeks ago. Very 90's, very catchy. Like GaGa's cute Spanish accent.
4. TELEPHONE – Took a while to grow on me. It's pretty cheesy and poppy but very fun and uplifting. The lyrics are a bit superficial but it's a party song.
5. SPEECHLESS – I love the song, the chorus is very moving. My only problem with this song is that there's not much to it. I think it would be good for musical theatre because it's predictable and you pretty much know the whole song after you hear it once. I like the song, but I don't think it has much longevity. I don't think it's quite as good as Xtina's Beautiful. Sorry.
6. SO HAPPY I COULD DIE – I like the cheesy lyrics about touching yourself. My favourite line is "When something falls out of place, I take my time and put it back, I touch myself till I'm on track". Quite a conventional-sounding pop-r'n'b song but still cute.
7. TEETH – It's quite experimental and I like the way GaGa sounds with actual instruments as opposed to synth. It sounds a bit like Xtina on Back to Basics, only with a bit of a jungle vibe. The melody isn't very catchy, it's a bit chant-like, but it's good to see a different side of GaGaloo.
8. MONSTER – Don't really like the song at all. I hope I grow to like it a bit more but it just sounds SO disposable to me, like a Danni Minougue B-Side. Some of the lyrics are pretty cool "he ate my heart, he ate my brain" but I can't find anything else to like about the song. Really hope it doesn't get released.

Anyway those are my opinions so please, don't bother attacking me about them. I'm sure we all have our favs and least favs. Overall love the album, and love GaGa. I think Telephone, Dance in the Dark, Speechless and Alejandro could all be successful singles and that's more than most pop albums would release off a full-length LP. <3

I went and bought 3 copies of the deluxe version (one for me, two as gifts) after hearing the leaked tracks. I was only gonna buy one until I heard the whole thing. I’m also going to her concert on Dec 10!

Gaga not mind the album being leaked! Speaking of THE FAME MONSTER! I would like to Gaga launch the clip for Monster and Alejandro! Would complement the success of this album, because Bad Romance is perfect and Telephone should be too! ;DDD’

I’m a HUGE Gaga fan, but I couldn’t resist listening to Speechless. I feel so bad but I’m obviously still gonna buy the album. Definitely. She’s changed my life so much that there is no way I would cheat her so much as to just listen to her songs off the internet. I love you Gaga <3

This is a GREAT ALBUM! I love how each one of the 8 songs has its own different vibe, displaying the diversity of her influences.
Potential hits or top charters: Bad Romance, Dance in the Dark (best track in my opinion), Telephone, and Speechless. So I think those should be the 4 singles.

Already ordered two copies of the album ;)

For those who downloaded the leak, if you liked it, please do purchase the album and SUPPORT THIS AMAZING ARTIST. Someone as talented and fascinating as like Lady Gaga comes around once every mega-light years… let’s keep her around for good.

i love the album but there are wo songs that im on the fence about. monster and so happy i could die are ok but the other 6 are amazing like speechless.

if i had my way, the next 3 singles would be “monster”, “speechless”, and “dance in the dark.” not really a big fan of telephone, but it is kinda growing on me.

i think “alejandro” might be a european single like “eh, eh” was. and i actually like “teeth”, it’s a very sexy song and good way to end the album. i think “so happy i could die” is okay, but the lyrics are actually kinda great when you really listen to it. all in all, i love the first half of the album , but it kinda falters toward the end for me.

I am not a fan of piracy at all. These artists have to make a living just like the rest of us.

My friend sent me the album as sort of an early Hannukah present and I have to be honest: this is an awesome package of a story wrapped in conjunction with its sister album: The Fame.

Monster, I think, will go down in history as a great companion album to The Fame as Gaga shows her already impressive chops and then manages to take us to the next level. I will go on the record by saying “Speechless” is an avenue that the singer should definitely investigate further. She is great at the electropop scene, yes she is eccentric…but the act won’t last forever. She should take a cue from her idols, and learn to adapt…and “Speechless” is definitely one way to go.

“Bad Romance” may be likened to “Poker Face” but after listening to it for the 200th time and watching its ever impressive music video, this is certainly a ballad for the ages. It’s eccentric and weird enough to allow anyone to be drawn to it. Its catchy lyrics are very reminiscent of the puh puh poker face grab of her previous song, but Gaga shows she can deliver, and she does. (score (out of 5): 4.75/5- The onyl drawback is the fashion interlude, it’s out of place and doesn’t relate to the entire song. As fun as it is to dance to, it ruins the song)

“Alejandro”, oh “Alejandro”. When the song first got leaked on youtube, I was a bit disappointed. It was too slow, very DIFFERENT from most of Gaga’s more profound songs. But the more I listen to it, the more it makes sense. Sure, I think the Haus will produce a version that will be more uptempo, but again I think they should let the song stand on its own. Its tale of loss and lover’s remorse is perfectly placed after “Bad romance”, so props to the record producers. It would also make a great tango or paso doble piece—you hear that DWTS peeps?? Time to invite Gaga back for another performance. (Score- 4.5/5- The tempo is problematic, the song feels like it should sound faster. A first listen may make the listener become impatient for an uptempo increase. If the person is patient, they can revel in the amazing song “Alejandro” is)

“Monster” is a perfect entrance into a new territory for Mdme Gaga. I can’t really pin it on anything I’ve heard from her before. I thought at first I wouldn’t like, but it took grab of me and just made me run with it. “He ate my heart” may become the new “Poker face” grab line. And it tells such an awesome story. The great thing about Gaga is with many of her songs, she tells a great story…and this is a grand example of it. She may have tripped up last album with songs like “Money Honey” and “Boys, Boys, Boys” which as catchy as they were, they weren’t strong lyrically. This time around, “Monster” exemplifies Gaga’s strength as a story teller. (4.75/5- This song came so close to getting a perfect, yet it does sound oddly reminiscent of someone else…Madonna you know who I’m talking about. Though Gaga makes it original, it does sound a bit of Madona’s Hard Candy)

And then we came to “Speechless”, apparently the monster did some horrible damage to Gaga which lead to this song. The Blues like rhythm impowered with sort of a haunting piano is a revelation and sort of a relief from the mostly electropop sound she has been experimented with. This song will define her as a TRUE artist. Yeah she can deliver the goods with “Just Dance”, “Poker Face” but at the same time, this is an artist who knows how to experiment with other forms. It may not be something she has fun with, but hey Gaga, this song is amazing. You need to play around in this form just a bit longer. (5/5- awesomely powerful ballad that is true to heart and emotionally honest)

Removing herself from “Speechless”, “Dance in the Dark” is sort of gothic reemergence. It has a cue line that sounds oddly reminiscent of an 80s song, though I can’t remember. But the lyrics again are strong. This girl has a story to tell, and she does it well. The combination of the great dance beat with the awesome lyrics produces another powerful song. I can see this song becoming a popular hit, with a killer chance to becoming a great remix. (4.95/5- It comes so close to becoming perfect, but sometimes the production values just overpower it to the point I couldn’t understand it)

I really love it how Gaga knows how to tease. “Telephone” starts out as a nice ballad and then it slowly evolves into an impressive pop hit. This song I see more of a fun hit for her, coupled nicely with Beyonce’s ‘Video Phone” (which unfortunately makes Gaga look amazing, but really accents the fact that too much make up on her makes her kind of draggish. Which isn’t bad, but she’s such a beautiful girl, she doesn’t need the make up). I can’t wait for this video with these two divas partying it up. (4.5/5- I mean, this song accomplishes what it was set out to do- enetertain. Does it make me rethink life? No. It makes me think I really need to look at my wireless plan)

“So Happy I Could Die”, sort of a revisit to a lot of Gaga’s work in _The Fame_. it’s a good steady beat, but I must ask Gaga….why try to copy something Cyndi Lauper did with “Touch Myself”? I love the chorus. It’s catchy. But this whole touching thing…it’s old. Been there done that. But the production values on this song are strong. Gaga has a great team. (4/5- too reminiscent of older shtick and doesn’t stand strongly by itself. The chorus and overall composition save this song)

And then we conclude with “Teeth”. I don’t know if I was supposed to laugh, but most of the time I did laugh. It’s a funny song! Why? Probably because the song seems really out of place. We have all of these songs about personal discovery and personal loss, and then we conclude with this song? It’s a grand song , combining some old band style with the sexy sounds of “Beautiful, Dirty, Rich”. Gaga shows she could do well with Big Band styles. Production Values again are very strong. But seriously Gaga, did the record company pressure you that much? This should of been saved for the third album. But hey girl, you do your own thing, and sure enough you did! (4.25/5- Slightly stronger than its previous song, “Teeth” shows like “Summerboy”, oddly placed but a great way to end the album)

Overall, this album is a great companion piece to _The Fame_ with _The Fame Monster_ showing a darker side to the life of an acclaimed pop star, and perhaps her rise to her current position. If we jumped from “Speechless” to “Just Dance”, it would make for a perfect story. Gaga, I am a proud fan and devoted one at the same time. i will definitely buy this album regardless because I think you have convinced me to.

Overall rating (out of 10): 8/10- This is a great direction for Gaga showing she can do more than just do your casual dance club hit.
Lyrics: (out of 10): 9/10
Music: (out of 10): 8/10
Vocals: (out of 10): 10/10- god bless this woman. She definitely overshadows some other pop stars in this department
Production Values (out of 10): 9/10

I downloaded it, and honestly I’m a huuuuge gaga fan but this album seems rushed and completely effortless. I feel like she just jotted down like, 3 sentences, repeated those same 3 sentences for 5 minutes and expected us to eat it up just because we love her so much. Unfortunately, I’m honest and if I don’t like something, I’m gonna voice it not because I enjoy being a cynical bitch or anything, I’m just sayin.
Bad romance is def the strongest song on the album and I’m sorry to say I planned on getting the deluxe edition but I’m not gonna spend 100+ dollars on 7 songs that are generic and unimpressive. Don’t hate me people, I still adore her, I just think she could have put a little more effort in this.

If Monster doesn’t get released as a single we’re in trouble. I need some club mixes of that anthem to take me into the dawn!

That boy is a monster (could. i. love. him?!?!)

epic!

her soulful vocal runs + the throwback beat = everything i wish for in pop

telephone is the worst song on the cd, it doesn’t fit the albums concept at all, beyonce is lame and it sounds like it’s just on there to make some cash.
