It’s not even iTunes only; I’ve bought it on ITunes and I’ve bought the hard copy. Both are sensired the same way, but the “Bad Romance” remix isn’t sensored. Right. A fan on the official Gaga forums said when they met her at Best Buy in L.A. and asked her about it, she said she didn’t want the “Explcit content” sticker on herCD, so she complieed with the label in censoring the CD. I agree. It is bull, and I was P.O.’ d, especially since The Fame had curse words in it and wasn’t censored, so why this?

After all is said and done though, thank you for your music, performances and videos Lady Gaga and I hope this debaucle gets cleared up and the people (likely the FANS) who have just bought the album (single or 2 Disc Deluxe) may exchange them for the (uncensored/explicit) version if they so choose to do so. Yes I too have encountered the CENSORY MONSTER when I was under the impression that it wasn’t. At least that’s what the videos here in Canada on Much Music led me to believe. I purchased the 2 Disc Deluxe Edition (featuring a re-released version of The Fame, which I had, but withouth the 3 bonus songs).

I was rocking and grooving to the beat and in confusion, dissapointment and annoyment when I heard some other “BIT” (as opposed to the unedited video shown on tv and apparently single version) in there. I may likely not have purchased it if I had known, as there are other albums including at least one of Janet’s (Jackson) albums with no disclaimer slip a few f bombs among others. However Janet’s All For You (which did have a Parental Advisory on it) was then resold with a track’s remix and all censored up with the uncensored version nowhere to be found. I ended up discarding the uncensored one, and stil hope to obtain All For You someday.

Well in any event I hope that Future Shop here in Ontario, Canada (where I had purchased it just last night) will get unfiltered 2 Disc Deluxe Editions of Lady Gaga’s “The Fame Monster” soon so that I may exchange this one for one of those. Perhaps they can repackage the mint copies of the returned clean ones and sell them as censored ones. It’s a shame really, because I dig this album so much, but would much rather have an uncensored legally bought copy!!!

I love Gaga, but I will NOT buy her album until the label releases the uncensored version. And as a real CD, not as some iTunes-only crap.

24-28€ for censored music is not something I would buy. Let alone the 100-150$ fan packages, as they’re propably censored, too.

I got the dark haired on. BUT I AM FUCKING PISSED OFF! it’s the edited version, and I bought it at Best Buy! You don’t listen to Lady GaGa, edited! That’s a complete oxy-moron. I am so pissed… what a waste… I want the real unedited album. That what my $15.14 was intended for. lol =/ grrr
